Viewing Notes

watching Jewel act is a treat. She’s decent for this role but it is quite amusing esp. when she has to emote and bring the tears. ofc they find way to get her singing w/her guitar. This was shot in and around Victoria, Canada and it shows (but it’s supposed to be Oregon lol). I think all these Hallmark movies / series are shot in Canada.

I wanted to check out this one after falling for the Gourmet Detective movies but it doesn’t have the same charm nor chemistry between the two leads. Also the whole “fixer upper” angle isn’t as appealing as the food / chef stories. I’ll probably watch the other two movies since there’s only two and I like Jewel.
