aka La Otra aka The Other
This was the #cinejanes movie for the evening and it looked like a good one and one that would qualify for Moarvember Mysteries. It certainly does altho the mystery isn’t apparent until the story gets cooking. Was later remade in Hollywood with Bette Davis. Cool gothic noir with the gorgeous Delores del Rio. Would love to own a nice restored release. The YT upload was a VHS rip that viewed on my phone to make it watchable.
Also makes for a nice warmup for Advent 2023. If there is a good physical release for this I’d include it in my annual Xmas rotation.
