Learned I owned a Jesse V film on Blu-ray that I didn’t know was his film. Not sure why the ratings are so low in IMDb and TMDb bc this is a perfectly fine, derivative sci-fi actioner starring Don the Dragon and Katee Sackhoff. Like Don has many other films that aren’t great with much higher ratings than this. This reeks of fanboys out to torpedo a film for whatever reason… perhaps bc Katee did this while still doing BSG? who knows. people are fucking assholes.
Anyways, Jesse put the work in here with a bunch of fabricated armor and guns on a typical old factory / desolate junkyard area. Don is way cool and it’s nice to see him hooking up with the 26years younger Sackoff. Good for him. He’s a legend and one of the few guys I’d love to meet in RL and thank him for paving the DTV way.
lol I rated this a 4/5 on TMDb and it bumped it up to 40 percent
