Totally understand why viewers would be upset with the bait and switch bc it’s not an Adkins movie. But he is in the movie as a significant side character. Now I get why others may be angry that this is just a repurposed movie (Angels, 2012) with new scenes added and rereleased but the history of cinema is littered with examples of this practice. But where I take issue is the number of IMDb reviewers that say this isn’t an action movie.
The movie doesn’t have to be THE RAID or John Wick 4 to be considered “action” or a thriller. This is a p standard “I must find the murderer of my daughter” premise with a few flourishes including a brawl between Adkins and Nguyen and a huge shootout in a strip club. That’s action, you bottom feeding morons.
I’d like to see Angels and compare with this version. I like the Adkins scenes and the opener with Kane so I’m curious what they replaced in the original film.
