Viewing Notes

Was tipped off to this movie by CaptainBigTime (had not heard of it until he logged it). What sounds like a Christmas comedy is really a drama, which is probably why it’s not talked about…. Put Paul Rudd and Giamatti together in a movie and it should be a riot. This is not that. These are ex-cons trying to go straight and dealing with their own issues over the holiday season. Sally Hawkins portrays a Russian and I didn’t recognize her at first.

This weird thing has been happening recently where I watch a movie with a popular actor then watch another movie and that actor pops up. Saw Sally Hawkins in WONKA yesterday then her she appears again. Several instances like that which is bizarre yet a pleasant coincidence.
