This movie has been getting a lot of buzz over the past week since it hit Screambox and definitely got me interested in checking it out. Sadly not good. Also just learned it’s available on Hoopla of all places!
I haven’t actively disliked or hated a movie as much as this for a long time. Perhaps since that other Korean thriller Midnight or whatever it was called. Almost from the start this movie does things to dig a hole so deep there’s no coming out.
These cops are chasing serial killers with zero leads. They get a good tip and send a couple dozen cops to the isolated location. Not -one- bothers to secure the location so the killer can simply walk out and escape. That was the beginning of a long string of dumbshit things that made this painful to watch.
Giving this a 4 bc at least the actors committed to this regardless of how dumb it was. For those that have been hyping this up I’d love to know why. I may actually have to go look up reviews on Letterboxd ugh
