Hackneyed retread story with some crazy ass action sequences. Baby John Cena is fun with Robert Patrick as the big bad. There’s some humor sprinkled throughout that often feels out of place but I think they were going for that 80s Schwarzenegger vibe so I was fine with it. But I wouldn’t call this a comedy or dark comedy as it’s listed in IMDb.
Love that it’s set in South Carolina but shot almost entirely in Australia. Now I’m curious to watch the sequels.
