Read an article today about how this came to be so it prompted me to seek it out and view it again. Back in the day we had to record it off mtv bc we could only find the Betamax in stores. Watched it so many times I nearly had every line memorized.
Could easily write 5000 words about this but I won’t. Suffice it to say that this was a major piece of my teenage years and still gets me emotional especially seeing those we’ve lost. Certain things lock into place now after reading that article.
Would be so cool if Wendy Dio could get this released with all the outtakes, b-roll and interviews. This 30 minute feature only captures a fragment of that day.
