Viewing Notes

not nearly as bad as the IMDb rating would suggest (currently at 3.8/10). Sure, it’s not all original but it places Natalie Burn as the protag completing tasks all in one night in order to save her son held by a gangster. She’s a badass and when the action is on her it’s good. I know she’s taking work that’s offered but it would be nice to see her in a better action movie with better filmmakers. This is the kind of DTV that gets churned out to pay the bills hence Dolph Lundgren, Sean Patrick Flanery, and even Danny Trejo, who turns down nothing, all with prominent roles. ofc there’s the usual ex-UFC fighters like Chuck Liddell (they didn’t even spell his name correctly in the opening credits) and Quinton Rampage Jackson.

This is nothing special but decent for what it is and Natalie Burn is pretty good destroying dudes. I’d be down with adding her to that girl gang movie directed by Timo that lives in my head.

From the end credits I learned that Mike Mendez was the editor (taking work to pay the bills) and Marko Zaror (!!) was one of the action directors. Makes sense bc Natalie looks great in those fights.
