Viewing Notes
Sat in my usual IMAX seat for my second feature today at AMC Promenade (first movie Pegasus 2 is not in ML won’t log). Didn’t want IMAX for this one but their Dolby theater is broken. Yeah I don’t get it either.
Shocking amount of ppl showed up for this early screening! I think bc they pushed the broken Dolby theater attendees into this screening but I was surprised.
The movie is not good. It’s like everyone is in a different movie and delivering bananas dialogue. Pretty sure Dakota is just being her typical awkward self and I love her for it. Like I’m just waiting for her to say, “what am I doing here; why am I here?” in her standard aloof voice. And her character is supposed to be awkward, too.
Because it’s so bad I actually like this movie. It’s not the movie the trailers want you to think it is which was disappointing but I got over that bc it’s just so hilariously bad. I laughed so much. Plus there’s an exploding helicopter so there’s that.
