Seems like it wants to be like those early Hitchcock thrillers like Sabotage and The Man Who Knew Too Much. But unnecessary wheel spinning and uneven tone keep it from ever reaching those heights. If you want to be a comedy then be a comedy. This film doesn’t know and therefore isn’t a good comedy. Should’ve just removed the humor elements and made it a straight mystery thriller.
