This short film was included in the Oscar nominated animated shorts package and should’ve been one of the actual nominations. It’s better than at least two of the five nominees.
Sure, it’s manipulative but clever and really well made without hitting the viewer over the head with the message. But seeing this lifecycle of salmon portrayed as women is really something.
