Unexpectedly, pie in the sky falls, and the director of Laotoule Automobile Factor, who is on the verge of suspending production, offers to sponsor Zhang Chi to form a team to compete in the last Bayinbrook Rally.

Viewing Notes
Wasn’t planning on seeing this sequel in theater but the showtime worked out and the ratings were positive. Turns out that this is a better movie and I’m glad I could see it on the big screen.
The humor from the first movie is dropped in favor of real drama and a true sports thriller. Having seen a few Shen Teng films in the last couple years he reminds me of Song Kang-ho, especially his early run. Same kinda of vibe as a leading man that isn’t chiseled and perfect.
The only weird thing is that there’s no mention of Shen Teng’s character being a father or his son from the previous film (even tho he has a redemption arc from that film).
