yesterday was my brother’s birthday so I wanted to watch a movie released on or near his day of birth. Found this movie that was released in February 1978. I had never seen it before so why not give it a whirl.
Such a seventies movie! Not for the premise bc they did make EMPIRE RECORDS in the nineties which has a very similar story. This is a seventies movie for the wild cast like Ruth Buzzi and Alice Ghostley and Ted Lange etc etc. then there’s actors like Tim Thomerson in a goofy surfer dude role.
Not a good movie but very much a product of its time. It was filmed in Eagle Rock and I’m sure I’ve been by where the store was located.
