This is the Fleischer Superman short I wanted to see bc Matt Alt mentioned how Miyazaki stole the robot design for Laputa. Wow that’s a stretch. Perhaps Miyazaki was influenced or inspired by these robots. They’re just very generic robots and don’t even resemble his guardians. Anyways this is another cool cartoon that looks great on the Blu.
