I saw this movie back in the day during the mid-nineties, my road warrior days living out of hotels when cable tv was my only friend. Pretty much watch any and everything that was on HBO, Showtime, Cinemax etc. this was a movie that was in regular rotation. No surprise there as a lot of films like this were programmed to fill the airtime especially late at night.
As Ron noted, it is a very workman-like film; it does what it needs to do and everyone shows up and does their job. The nineties were particularly good for that, low budget and on schedule or earlier. I like this movie, too, as it spins the story / curse and stretches it all the way to Los Angeles and completely outside of the home. Also had a big crush on Julia Nickson back then and she’s still awesome. Solid cast in this film.
