Viewing Notes

Second movie in my double feature at Promenade and in a completely empty theater some people chose seats right next to me. Like not even a buffer seat. Unreal

Fun and very anachronistic but it all works. Mostly slight and feels like a comedy at times but a solid cast subverting the standard Old West tropes. Now I want to revisit POSSE.

RIP M. Emmet Walsh

I had to add him to TMDb bc he wasn’t listed and I’ll be goddamned certain he gets his credit bc when he appears early in the movie I was so happy to see his face. He has the gravity to make even the smallest of roles feel important. Huge loss. He will be missed.
