A group of evil bandits are terrorizing the land from their invincible mountain castle. The high commanding official decides to put a stop to this and commands one of his officers to gather a group of Kung Fu masters to put an end to the terror. But everything is not that simple and straight-forward, as we quite soon learn when the plot thickens.

Viewing Notes
Always a thrill to find another unseen Shaw Production. This 4K restoration with 1080p output isn’t quite as crisp as The Lady Assassin but still very good and on par with most of the Blu releases by Arrow and Shout.
Solid albeit familiar story of putting a team together for a rescue mission. Lots of fun stuff here including babyface Ku Feng, whom I enjoy seeing in any Shaw film. Hopefully this one will find its way to a disc soon.
Removed Sammo Hung from the TMDb page as he was listed as “Extra [unconfirmed]” why the F would you add an actor as unconfirmed?? jfc go to the HKMDB and check. At least I watched the entire movie and can confirm he’s no where to be found.
Oh I just read the description and it’s almost entirely incorrect. Gd people get your shit together. Ugh maybe I’ll compose a better synopsis and update ~sigh~
