Viewing Notes
This 4K restoration at 1080p is more on par with The Lady Assassin and would be one of the best for PQ in any one of the Shaw sets. Another familiar story this time with Elliot Ngok and Shu Pei-Pei as the main heroes taking on this fortress of scoundrels. Very similar to to Golden Swallow / Shadow Whip since our heroine also uses a whip. Decent action and some fun interactions.
I’ll have to watch this again bc they have some Little Fortunes listed in the cast which I wasn’t aware so didn’t look for them. If they aren’t obviously apparent in the film I will remove them from the TMDb page.
