aka OPERATION: KICK ASS (on Tubi)
Really enjoyed this. It’s far from being a great movie but it’s entertaining for a girls with guns flick and doesn’t pull punches. Li Mengmeng is a current action heroine in Chinese cinema based on her recent films but I haven’t seen them since most aren’t available. She’s good in this, some wacky scenes notwithstanding (there’s a terrible composite when she’s jumping in double automatics blazing). The hand to hand fighting is good. And it’s under 70 minutes. I’d buy this if it were released on dvd. The subtitles are jenky as usual on Tubi.
