Desperate to leave their humble origins behind, farmhands Tatsunori (Yuma Ishigaki), Ken (Suzunosuke) and Yonesuke (Ohkuchi Kengo) assume the identities of Samurai warriors in order to help protect a village from the daily raids of local bandits. But the three soon find themselves out on a limb when real Samurai Jojima (Ichinose Hidekazu) returns from the war and confronts them.

aka GACHI SAMURAI, as it’s known everywhere online
Every streaming platform has the correct title of GACHI SAMURAI but on TMDb? Nope! Was going to upload a proper movie poster to TMDb but apparently that’s not possible via mobile.
Also this title is completely absent on IMDb. That’s a mystery. Probably should’ve viewed on Tubi bc the FreeVee ad breaks are so obnoxious. The movie fine. Like a softball throw back to v-cinema. Also feels like a manga adaptation.
