Viewing Notes
Not as good as the previous film but still enjoyable for the crazy story that moves away from obtaining the swords to a whole other confusing thing. Only An Ziyi is back from the first film with the white hair and red robes. I think I’ve figured out the trilogy; each film focuses on a different couple. Here it’s newcomer Zhang Hua Zhao who falls in love with Ziyi’s Lanzhu.
Just like the first movie there’s so much going on it’s hard to follow why and what all these characters are doing. But it’s entertaining to me. I need to update the TMDb listing to add Yu Sichu who I learned from. Russian site that she is in fact the Lady Spectre. Also added the IMDb ID.
