could also be called “Queen of Drunken Boxing” as more accurate title…
went from liking Li Mengmeng in the previous film to loving her in this next installment. Sad we won’t get physical media releases of this series (this is the third film and there’s one more after this). Read a review panning this film for being derivative and dragging between the action. yo dude hate to break it to ya but like 99.9 percent of kung fu films produced today are derivative. I almost want to start a website just to review and praise movies like this, where strong women are at the center and kick lots of ass.
If I could buy a digital HD version (have only seen SD for sale), I would. The we could watch properly in the Secret Cinema instead of my macbook. There’s a terrific oner where Qin Lang, another bad ass woman, goes up these stairs and takes out every guard in her way. It’s shot so well and she’s so awesome.
