Amusing when it starts up bc I thought I had seen it due to the location. Had not seen it but the location is the same as AvN also directed by Seiji Chiba following this film. Fun to see Mika Hijii again (aka Namiko — Scott Adkins’ wife from NINJA) as well as Mitsuki Koga, who’s done a ton of action movies but is currently a sparring partner with Tak.
Movie is p good like another throwback to v-cinema. Action is decent yet still needs fewer edits. Hijii is awesome. I probably knew this at the time and just forgot that Masayuki Izumi died in 2015 at 35 years old. He was also a Kamen Rider. Just crazy and sad.
