Short directed by 18yo Wesley Wang during his last year of HS that got him noticed by Darren Aronofsky. It’s good! Every time I see one of these teenagers dealing with life stories I’m reminded that every generation of teens goes through the same shit. This current generation isn’t any different despite them thinking otherwise. It’s one thing that weakens this film but I know it resonates with many.
It’s well made and looks great. Dude has talent. Lily Chee is super cute and reminds me of another actress I couldn’t recall in the moment.
