I dug this riff on cursed object / Final Destination. Slim and straight to the point with cool monsters. Just needed sharper teeth but decent for PG-13. Love the original artwork on the cursed tarot cards.
Jacob Batalon… from billion dollar Spider-man movies to being the seventh wheel in the Scooby gang. Crazy. Also, he needed a better stylist for this movie.
I knew it wasn’t really upstate NY but I kept guessing where it might be thinking Quebec City or Montreal at the very least. Then the credits roll and I see those crew names; I call out nearly every eastern european county except Serbia. lol
Took advantage of $6 Tuesday and my free popcorn credit. Cannot believe they have 12 minutes of commercials — not trailers — before they start the first trailer. Then mix in product advertisements between the trailers. Nah GTFO with that
