Sad we won’t be getting a Blu release bc I would absolutely own this. Shot well and looks very nice.
Some of the stuff is a little too silly for the live adaptation like Ryo’s obsession with cute women but the action is all there plus having kabukicho, shinjuku as the backdrop is perfect. I’ve stood on most of those streets and alleys in the red light district. Cool to see Ryohei Suzuki in the lead. Still wish his crazy tokusatsu HK movies got a release here. Didn’t even recognize Moemi in this bc of her makeup.
