Back on the Corman train as DKUTV continues their RC tribute marathon. This is the worst presentation I’ve seen of the marathon, just a garbage transfer. Every time Josef says his broadcast is HD I wanna say it doesn’t matter if the source material is trash. But that dude is so overly sensitive.
Anyways I haven’t seen this so I tuned in. Weird to see a color film after all the b&w films before it (Little Shop of Horrors was just before this). This one being color makes it feel much later than 1961. Also they shot on location in Greece tho you probably wouldn’t know.
Terrible movie but Barboura Morris is styled well and looks fabulous albeit anachronistic. She clearly was a Corman favorite as all nine films I’ve seen her in were directed by Roger. TIL she died one day after her 43rd (!!) birthday. Damn
