UPDATE: This is a repurpose of a much earlier film directed by Fred, Housewives from Another World (2010), but chopped down to from its 72 minute runtime, clearly removing the sex scenes as I noted below. Wonder if this was done for some kind of new distribution deal w/Tubi. Leave it to Fred to milk more out of his already crummy sexploitation flicks.
This is a Fred Olen Ray joint under his Retromedia banner. He wrote the screenplay (probably in 15min). So not a Corman deal but Fred is one of his disciples. Was super curious bc the TMDb rating is so low but how bad can it be?! Welp now I know. It’s not bc it’s bad ( but it is bad); it’s just half-assed for whatever reason. Like imagine a porn movie or a softcore film where *ALL* the naughty scenes are removed. It’s bizarre.
Woman gets naked for an expected sex scene and it just cuts to the next chapter in the story. Bc the runtime is so short I wonder if there is a huge chunk missing. And perhaps that version is being shown on PPV sex channels.
Because tbh there’s no point to this otherwise. But this is a bad movie too but I’m usually more forgiving for these kinds of things. But when one of the characters asks to use the landline phone when he’s visiting his coworker that was it for me. WTF Fred we’re not in the nineties anymore… every person has a mobile phone. So stupid.
