Overview
Shoyo Hinata joins Karasuno High’s volleyball club to be like his idol, a former Karasuno player known as the ‘Little Giant’. But Hinata soon learns that he must team up with his middle school nemesis, Tobio Kageyama. Their clashing styles form a surprising weapon, but can their newfound teamwork defeat their rival Nekoma High in the highly anticipated ‘Dumpster Battle’, the long awaited ultimate showdown between two opposing underdog teams?

Broke my own rule of not attending anime feature films based on a tv series or show when I have no familiarity with the show. It was really the only movie with an agreeable showtime to do a double feature and I really didn’t want to see The Strangers Ch1 especially when it will be easier to watch later unlike most anime films.
Made the right call bc this movie is a lot of fun. I get the appeal of these anime sports manga and anime bc they know how to make them exciting. Sadly I just don’t have the bandwidth for more anime. This has a very similar vibe to My Hero Academia but volleyball players instead of superheroes.
