Overall impressed with Ishana’s feature film debut but the nepotism is strong with this one. No way this movie is made with this cast and budget without the name. But that’s fine bc what else is she gonna do and if it helps, why not. Will be fun to follow her career.
I’m a mark for Irish folk horror so this mostly works for me. Its weakest aspects are when it leans on the tropes a little too much. But well crafted and looks very pretty and a solid cast with a so so mystery (guessed correctly early on). Kept me interested and an MVP bird in Darwin.
Wish I had seen this before OCCULT BOLSHEVISM last night! Might’ve made that film better.
