This definitely passes the Bechdel test!
Super inside baseball for the anime production industry. Was hoping (thinking) this would be humorous given the premise but it’s a full on drama about producing an anime, storyboards to the voice acting. It’s neat to see but I think some levity could’ve made this pop.
I would like to watch both anime shows created in the film, esp. Soundback. Curious if they’re real. The eclairs featured in the movie are from Cozy Corner in Ginza. Wonder if that’s the place we got cream puffs. Definitely want to visit there on the next trip.
