Viewing Notes

Giving this a half star bump for the cool movie cat. Easily the best thing or my favorite thing, anyways. Outside of that, the movie is fine. Really had no desire to watch this bc it was a prequel to a franchise I don’t care about anymore and the overplayed trailer made it annoying. BUT WOM was good, esp. among my friends who enjoyed it so I decided to go see it big since there’s a lesser chance I’d bother once it hits streaming. Again, it’s fine.

At this point it’s probably the premise that doesn’t work for me. Hyper sensitive to noise creatures would hear everything and it’s impossible to be completely silent. I just don’t buy it. Dude is crawling on a beam to get the cat and heavily breathing, the monster opens up its ear even more and can’t hear anything suspicious? nah

Because of the success of this they’ll make Day Two or whatever. I don’t care.
