Viewing Notes

Second movie in the DKUTV robot triple feature (third movie is Electric Dragon ). Like the previous ROBO- G I don’t think this movie has been programmed before today.

Like a mashup of Short Circuit, Body Snatchers and E.T. It’s cute. Love that Hidetaka Yoshioka, Yamazaki’s muse, was cast in his feature debut. Also like the rural setting and set design with all the old electronics.

Neat to see another Takashi Yamazaki film in a week. May have to revisit Always Sunset and GMO soon.
