Viewing Notes

forgot my earplugs:( :( :( —> it was so loud, too. I fashioned some earplugs out of a concession napkin.

Anyways, I wanted to see this bc of the musical numbers. They did not disappoint. So good that I fired up the soundtrack and listened to it all the way home. I rarely do that for Indian films. Unfortunately, the story isn’t all that interesting (Mr. Bachchan is a tax official doing a raid on a corrupt politician for tax evasion ~yawn).

I do like the romance subplot (Bhagyashri Borse is super pretty) and all the music / dance. The action is the usual stylized slo-mo stuff which I’m over it. Just present it in real-time.
