Overview
U.S. Marshal Sam Gerard is accompanying a plane load of convicts from Chicago to New York. The plane crashes spectacularly, and Mark Sheridan escapes. But when Diplomatic Security Agent John Royce is assigned to help Gerard recapture Sheridan, it becomes clear that Sheridan is more than just another murderer.

Viewing Notes
Wanted to watch this after seeing Tommy Lee Jones in Under Siege last night. Had never seen this before so I didn’t know Wesley Snipes was the fugitive! Huge bonus. Also didn’t know Robert Downey Jr was in this as he was right in the midst of all his personal issues. He was probably high during most of his scenes in this movie. Crazy. A little surprised that he’s my most seen actor (29) of this cast by nearly double of both TLJ (16) and WS (17) but given all the MCU films I suppose it makes sense.
Overall, great cast makes up for some of the shortcomings and love all the on location filming around Chicago and New York City plus downstate Illinois. I like that some of the NYC stuff was actually filmed in Chicago. I need to visit that cemetery in Chicago on my next visit.
