Saw this on 35mm at CFS and wanted to revisit since MUBI has a bunch of her films. I really dig the lowkey slice of life docudrama nature of this… where nothing is really happening yet life is happening and you’re observing it. Totally chill film for me. I love the circus elephants yet it also makes me sad to see them.
