Viewing Notes
Was included with the Backdraft dvd I got from the library. Released 28 years after the original so thought it was a sequel in name only but Billy Baldwin is the fire chief? So I guess it’s connected. Billy looks more like his brother Alec. Also, Donald Sutherland is back as the imprisoned arsonist.
The movie is okay but nothing compared to the OG film where you cared about the characters and the characters were interesting. None of the characters are interesting (except Sutherland). The mystery is ridiculous. There’s a scene set on Halloween which is the best thing in the movie but all too brief.
Biggest difference is that rather film in location in Chicago, they shot in Canada and Romania :/
