Hello! It’s your Antonio Margheriti apologist checking in… just to let you know he was totally capable of directing some bangers like this one. This a top ten, maybe top 5 even, spooky atmosphere mood movie. So. Much. Spooky. I love it and give it a bump just for having the appropriate vibe.
Great lead in for the Danza Macabra Vol 2 set. And I watched the Danza Macabra cut, which I don’t know the difference between it and the Castle of Blood cut but I will give that a spin on the next viewing. The restoration looks nice and the 4K UHD looks good.
