Can you call it a spooky season without at least one Jess Franco film??
I don’t remember where I got this file from but it sounded intriguing so I gave it a spin. Franco shows that he can do more sophisticated stuff with a psychological thriller set between a huge mansion and a jazz club. This had the potential to be really good but as it is it’s just fine.
Apparently there’s multiple cuts of the film so I don’t know which one I watched. Like his other work I’d own this one especially the director’s cut.
