Second film in our local Dismember the Alamo movie marathon programmed by Trace Thurman of the Horror Queers podcast.
Really love this one! The Hitchcockian / De Palma-esque cat and mouse premise after our mute protag witnesses a murder is both thrilling and amusing. I had heard this was a good movie and it definitely lives up to it. A treat to see this one on the big screen with a sold out audience. It’s still available on Shudder and absolutely worth viewing if you haven’t seen it.
Funny: When we first hear Alec Guinness’s voice I was like, “wow they’re doing a p good job imitating his voice!” Then we see his face. LOL - great story on how he got involved with this movie esp. given his disdain for being in Star Wars.
