Viewing Notes
Huh. Still not as smitten with this as most others are. Really expected to enjoy this more but it’s fine, at the same level as the first film. I like that it does something different and brings in an ensemble cast. As much as I want Donnie Yen to get more to do it’s just not possible with all these characters. But his unceremonious death is still a sore spot.
The second rewatch that I’m counting in my 31DoH bc this was p much like viewing it for the first time. I didn’t recall anything that happens (or that most of these actors besides Yen were even in this movie). It has been 22 years since I last watched this. That’s nuts and kinda freaks me out.
