Overview

Chose this one on Hallowe’en eve bc it’s set on Halloween. sadly it’s disappointing. Had I known it was gonna be more of a Day of the Triffids remake than a Pumpkinhead remake I may have enjoyed it more. The violence and gore are great but premise is p dumb (pumpkin monster mangles and destroys humans that are “carvers” - they carved a jack-o-lantern so they must die). Meant to be a comedy but there’s not a whole lot to laugh about in this bc everyone is taking everything so seriously. Except for the comedy relief characters, I suppose. Sigh I wanted this to be better.
