Overview

The cop universe expands with newer additions while the old ones return led by Bajirao Singham. Singham Again interweaves the mythological epic Ramayana’s good vs evil narrative when his wife Avni Kamath gets abducted by Danger Lanka setting Bajirao and his gang of Sangram Bhalerao and Veer Sooryavanshi along with Satya and Shakti Shetty on a mission to rescue her.

I FORGOT MY EARPLUGS I AM NOT HAPPY

Had to make earplugs from napkins :(

I really like the Singham films and it’s wild they bring in A-list actors in almost no speaking supporting roles like Tiger Shroff. Guessing he’s part of it bc his father is the OG villain. But so weird to see him here with maybe two lines of dialogue when he’s the star of his own franchise of actioners.

There’s a moment where Team Singham comes together to do The Avengers pose (from the first Avengers movie) and I wanted to stand up and applaud. Great to see Deepika be a badass again. Ranveer Singh is the easy MVP here as Simmba and I need to see more of his movies.

All in all this is not the best Singham movie but it is full of pretty people looking cool shooting guns. The big setpiece is so ridiculous you have to respect it. Wish my boy Akshay got a little more to do bc the banter is great esp. with Ranveer.
