Can’t believe it’s been 20 years since I’ve watched this. But I have a feeling I watched it at least one other time before I started logging religiously. That said, I didn’t recall a thing past the opening train sequence.
This isn’t a good movie but I give it a full point bump for the Twins. They make this watchable. However, this hits way differently after the Edison Chen scandal in 2008, esp how he ruined Gillian Chung’s career. I’m so happy she was able to make a comeback.
Philip Ng is in a blink and you’ll miss him role as a vampire on a motorcycle. He should’ve been the one to fight Jackie Chan. The whole movie is a weird mishmash of things. Kinda surprised this hasn’t gotten a good rerelease on Blu-ray with all the talent involved in a train wreck of a movie. Also there’s a 15 minute longer cut which I haven’t seen.
