The Herdman kids are undeniably the worst kids in the history of the world. They lie, steal, cheat, bully and overall terrorize their small community. But this Christmas, they’re taking over their local church Pageant – and they just might unwittingly teach a shocked little town the true meaning of Christmas.

Tries way too hard to mimic A Christmas Story and The Wonder Years but the amusing premise keeps it entertaining. Leans into religious themes given the church play of the nativity scene and birth of Jesus. I’m sure plenty of folks just love that.
Lauren Graham is the narrator and I got the impression she was doing this film to cleanse herself from her time in Bad Santa. Haha
