Seated for this Japanese animated film on my day off 🕺🏻
It’s fine. Your mileage my vary based on how invested you are in the Middle Earth lore. I’m not so much but thought this was an okay prequel. Just made me wanna revisit both trilogies which are better.
As an animated film from this mythology it will always be a tall order to live up to the original HOBBIT animated movie. This doesn’t come close to that.
