Seated at the Longmont Theatre Company and Performing Arts Center with a bunch of locals. Yippee ki yay MFer!
Super fun watching this with a big crowd, apparently the largest on record for this movie that they (the Trojan Movie House) have been showing every year since… 2018 —hahaha — I honestly thought the woman was gonna say “since 1997” or something, not a few years ago.
Also amusing bc they stopped showing films for two years bc of the pandemic so maybe 4 years they’ve screened this movie? But it was a large crowd and it was fun bc they cheered when dudes were shot multiple times and the police save the day. So weird but yeah it’s an entertaining movie with some great Bruce Willis lines. But the copaganda is strong with this one.
First time seeing it on the sorta big screen. Surprised this isn’t in every AMC theater rn. Like I should just be able to go to the movies and watch this. Every Christmas. Lastly, I really don’t understand how anyone could not consider this a Christmas movie; it factors into the story a few times besides being the setting. Like just the “Ho Ho Ho” written on the dead bad guy is enough but there’s more.
Unless you’re a person that thinks the movie must be about Christmas and that’s just dumb.
