Overview

Kick-box champion David Sloan arrives in Rio de Janeiro for an exhibition fight. He and mentor Xian take pity on Brazilian rascal Marcos Coasta, an urchin who offers guide services but routinely steals from tourists for himself and his older sister Isabella. David is shocked when he sees how his Argentinian opponent Marcelo needlessly abuses a courteous local sparing partner. That’s the doing of his evil US manager, Lane. He has nasty plans to force David to cheat and runs a white slavery racket.

Viewing Notes

Another step down from the previous two movies but watchable for Sasha Mitchell as David Sloan getting mixed up with human trafficking and a scumbag in Brazil. There’s really no stakes here as the villain forces David to “overtrain” for the upcoming fight in hopes he’s just too petered out to actually win against an inferior opponent. It’s so dumb I was wondering why he just didn’t make David throw the fight instead. (This was all part of saving a girl from the trafficking by the scumbag)

Anyways, it isn’t good with a very obvious low risk ending and zero highs but fine. We get some kickboxing and an exotic location.
