Sol Kyung-gu two nights in a row! Had no idea he was in this and yet another very different character. He’s kind of a dick as a Special Crime Unit cop mentoring a rookie but it works as their team is tracking a skilled gang of bank robbers. A lot of cat and mouse + surveillance suspense.
I like the lead woman Han Hyo-joo as the rookie on her first mission. Reminds me a lot of Minami Hamabe (Godzilla Minus One). It’s the classic pairing of the old veteran with the young rookie. Jung Woo-sung is great as always.
Another movie I’m shocked I didn’t see in theater back in Niles. This is totally the kind of movie that would’ve played too. Maybe it didn’t screen there? Dumb there’s no domestic release of this movie. I’d buy it.
